CSCI Internal Seminars

In order to promote efficient communication, exchange of ideas and collaboration amongst the stem cell community at Columbia, CSCI has organized a series of monthly meetings during the upcoming year in which students and postdocs from member laboratories from both campuses can present their latest research. This will be a productive venue for freely sharing unpublished data and discussion. Presenters are encouraged to select a story that will be of wide general interest.

Each meeting will feature two presentations, each 20 minutes maximum and 10 minutes for questions. There will be time for informal discussion at the end.

The meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the Hammer Health Science Center, Room 312.Pizza and beverages will be provided at 3:15 pm and the talks/discussions will be held from 3:30- 4:30 PM.
The next meeting is on May 13, 2013 at 3:15 PM at Hammer 312.
Speakers:

Dylan Rahe (Hobert lab)

"usp-48 encodes a deubiquitinating enzyme involved in cell fate restriction during development "

Josh Lee (Liu Lab)

"Phenotype and behavior of human dendritic cell precusors"
